The Art of Contemplation in Shingon Buddhism

Wednesday, December 17th 6-7pm (PT)

In person at Reedwood Friends or via Zoom

Rev. Kosho Finch, Head Minister of the Henjyoji Shingon Buddhist Temple in Portland, will join us to share how visualization and touch are used within his tradition to create a place of rest and focus during contemplation. Shingon Buddhism, rooted in early esoteric teachings brought to Japan in the 8th century, offers rich practices that also inform Tibetan Buddhism.

All are welcome to this unique opportunity to learn from a neighboring spiritual community.
