As a Friends church, Reedwood is governed by committees and councils that help discern ministries. The committees report to the Monthly Meeting, the gathered community that collectively attempt to discern where God is leading. Listed below are committees/councils. Committees include:
Elders
Persons willing to hold a position of responsibility, and willing to search for the right balance.
Stewards
Address issues with the physical upkeep of church buildings and grounds.
Education
Coordinate Sunday and Wednesday classes including Adult, Children’s and Youth Education and Scholarship committees.
Center for Christian Studies
Education is a healthy part of adult life and this committee promotes classes that occur spring, fall, and winter on most Wednesdays from 6:30-7:45pm.
Nominating
Seeks to discern gifts of individuals that might be willing to serve.
